Center for Advanced Computation and Telecommunications

Course Objectives

Provide a theoretical background on the subjects of probability and random processes with a focus on the application to problems in engineering and science. The objective is for the student to develop a conceptual understanding of the type of problems that require probabilistic analysis and learn methods for formulating and analyzing the problem.  The course will also help develop skills in basic statistical methods and analysis through computational projects, using data derived from communications networks and systems.
