Kavitha Chandra serves as the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs in the Francis College of Engineering. She works with a dedicated team of staff and faculty on the design and implementation of programs to increase participation of our students in research, engineering career experience and civic engagement. As director of the RAMP program, she collaborates with industry partners and faculty from Social-Sciences and Education to provide leadership training for underrepresented students in engineering. Kavitha is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (2004-*), having joined the department as an Assistant Professor in 1996. Prior to her faculty appointment, Dr. Chandra was member of technical staff in the Teletraffic and System Performance Department at AT&T Bell Laboratories (’94-’96) and senior member of technical staff in Applied Technologies Laboratories at AT&T Laboratories (’96-’98).
